Welcome to my website, I am Joan Wallis, complementary therapist for over twenty years.

I offer kinesiology, reflexology, reproductive reflexology, aromatherapy Indian head massage and Reiki. My therapy room, so my clients say, offers a comfortable, safe and secure environment during therapies. I see clients for general stress/physical wellbeing and also those who are managing life changing decisions. I work within my family home offering safe parking, directly outside the house and it's free!

My location in Crawley, West Sussex is close Gatwick Airport and has easy access to the M23 motorway, I offer treatments from surrounding areas including: Burgess Hill, Copthorne, Crawley Down, Dormansland, Faygate, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Horley, Lingfield, Redhill, Reigate and Turners Hill to name a few.

I believe in offering an 'all round' holistic approach to clients. Every person has a different finger print from their closest relative, so it is reasonable to take this theory one step further and say we experience health issues in our own unique way too. My aim is to draw on the knowledge from the therapies I am trained in to help each client as an individual.

As an example, two people could have lower back pain. Further to a detailed consultation, I may treat one client with aromatherapy and reflexology. The second client may benefit from balancing the body with kinesiology and a technique that looks at reactive muscle patterns, together with a check on any nutritional imbalances.

With 20 years' experience, I have learnt 'never to assume' and work with each new client to ensure their specific health issues are addressed. I find most conditions respond well to this 'all round' approach. The body's natural desire to return to homeostasis (natural balance) can only be helped and enhanced by these wonderful non-invasive approaches to health care.

Reproductive Reflexology

Supporting general wellbeing, infertility and assisted IVF cycles

Reproductive Reflexology can be used as a stand-alone treatment to enhance your natural fertility or with all forms of assisted conception including Clomid, IUI, IVF and ICSI. It can also be used to support individuals and couples using surrogacy or donors in IVF cycles.

Members of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists are specially trained, using structured and prescriptive treatment protocols, to support couples through all phases of their assisted conception programme.

Not all therapists offering aromatherapy hold a professional qualification and are not allowed to blend essential oils. They use pre-blended oils, not essential oils selected and blended for a unique experience just for you. Built on years of knowledge and training to know how to achieve this.

Indian Head Massage is a complementary therapy based on the ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. (Ayurvedic medicine is an ancient form of healing that arose in India and which is still widely used and available on the Indian subcontinent. Literally translated, ayurveda means the ‘science of life’ and, as such, it purports to be a total medical system that can treat mental, physical or emotional conditions).

Before providing wellbeing therapies to the corporate market I worked at a blue chip company where I researched and set-up therapies in the workplace so understand the processes and H&S requirements necessary to make the transition for caring companies thinking about offering this service to their staff.
